Not sure what the hell is wrong with my wordpress install. If I enable certain plugins then I am asked to open/save certain wordpress .php files, such as moderation.php or plugins.php. I think it might be time for a clean install. Hopefully will get round to it some time this weekend, or tomorrow night then […]
<rant>So I’m online looking for some ideas for gifts to buy my girlfriend for christmas, you know the usual but there’s one thing stopping me. All the major retailers decide to take their website’s down at this time of night for maintenance.
WTF. The internet never sleeps the person who’s running the show should know that. The only time I ever want to look for stuff online is in the middle of the night and this isn’t making it any easier for me. The thing that gets me is that the website works fine when I start, then as soon as I find something I’m interested in “sorry this website is down for maintenance. The only plus side is that curry’s give you a promo code for £5 off any online order, not that I’d use it but its the sentiment that counts.
Anyway, rant over. Nothing to see here, move along.</rant>
So this is just a wee random update. I’m bored of playing counter strike and I’ve been trawling around on IRC but it just doesn’t have the same appeal as it used to so I thought I’d get in a bit of a random life update.
