After reading a post on Paul Stamatiou’s blog about the things he takes to Uni I thought would post my reply to his question as a post here. Like Paul I don’t take a lot of things to uni with me, the bare essentials and usually I don’t take my laptop but this semester I’m going to make an effort to take it and use it more since that was the very reason I got it. Usually my gear consists of a couple of notebooks, an assortment of pens, a calculator and my iPod Touch with Sennheiser CX300 in-ear headphones.
Other items I carry around with me are: my wallet, keys(house and car) and scarve and gloves since it’s extremely cold in the morning (and through most of the day) here.
The bag was a present from my girlfriend for christmas and I love it. Its from Burtons and it fits my large 15.4″ acer laptop in its protective sleeve no problem at all. Although recently I have been checking out Crumpler’s range of bags and this one in particular. Bit pricey though.
There you have it. That’s everything I take to uni with me. I don’t take notes on the laptop, I mostly use it for programming/web browsing and charging my iPod touch.
