Just finished watching the first episode of the brand new season of Smallville and Wow! Wow! Wow!

Clark fights Bizarro Clark and the big question: who is dead? Is it Chloe, Lana or Lionel? I think this one is a bit obvious but it still could have gone either way.

I was a bit apprehensive about this episode and even more so about the introduction of a new character, Clark’s cousin from Krypton, Kara. We don’t see or find out much about her in this first episode of the series but enough to hint at who she is and where she is from. Plus she can fly! I guess this is the superpower Clark will be finding out about in this series. He has flown before (A few times) but never meaning to so it will be fun to see how he uses his new power when (and if) he gets it.

The Martian Manhunter makes a small appearance in this episode and Lex is there too. Lex is the prime suspect in the Lana murder(?) inquiry and hands himself over to the police.

The first episode was amazing and I can’t wait to see more. I think this season would be a good season to pick up Smallville if you haven’t watched it before or haven’t watched it for a few seasons. With the introduction of Kara the story will hopefully be slightly re-told to her and this will allow first time Smallvillers to jump on the bandwagon.

Also Lois and Chloe are looking extremely hot.
