Just like they told us when they played Glasgow’s ABC back in may, New Found Glory (NFG) are releasing their new album, From The Screen To Your Stereo Part II, on September 18th in the US, and not until early 2008 in the UK. Bit bummed out about that but from what I hear I can order it from the US website and get it shipped over, or I can download it.
Just like one of their previous albums, the similarly titled From The Screen To Your Stereo, FTSTYS II is a collection of covers from various songs from movies. The previous album, which I own, had an amazingly good collection of songs from some good old movies, such as Karate Kid, The Goonies and Titanic. Their new album has some covers from City of Angels, Walk The Line and Pretty Woman.
It also contains a cover of The Cardigan’s “Love Fool” from the Romeo and Juliet soundtrack, which sounds awesome. Should be an interesting album. I can’t wait!
