Having lost all my previous postings and installing wordpress quickly to have something here instead of a “coming soon” page I’ve come to like wordpress. It has an intuitive backend and administration features second to none, definetly better than anything I can code so I think I’ll stick with it. I’ve found this very minimalist theme 281, based on K2 which is search engine optimized and very fast.
I’ve found the plugins for wordpress are very good and implement everything that I could ever want a journal/blog (Not sure what to call them these days, the trend seems to be blog but not that long ago blog was a bit of a weird word). So I think I’ll try to develop this theme into something beautiful that I like and keep wordpress.
I’m also going to set up some cron jobs to backup for me so I never loose a million posts again.
Anyway, lookout for the new changes. Hopefully they will be good. If your still using cheeseweasel.cjb.net please update to mcinroy.org!
